Kaizen Training Skillnet News

27 March 2008 - Introducing the new Kaizen Training Skillnet

Interested in joing the new Kaizen Training Skillnet? Read on...

A group of twelve companies have experienced a great opportunity over the past two years participating in a unique networking approach to Lean Manufacturing implementation. The project was co-funded by Accel and the participating companies received 60% from the NDP. Called “Kaizen Training Skillnet”, the process involved running an initial pilot exercise in each company in 2006. Following successful achievements in all companies during this period, many further projects were taken on by each company throughout 2007. Details of these successes can be seen here on the website www.kaizenproject.com

The good news at this stage is that the project has received further funding for another two years through Skillnets Ltd. Even better news is that the project can now look at taking on more companies who can learn from the experiences of the existing companies. The main objective of the project is to develop a culture of lean manufacturing in all member companies through the use of continuous improvement techniques. The next stage of the project will involve certified training for all companies in the area of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. To learn more about the companies involved and read about their updates please log on to www.kaizenproject.com. To get further information on joining this project please contact Siobháin Cunniffe at the following email address info@kaizenproject.com or by phone on 090 6471223.
