A simple solution that saves a lot of time searching - created by Joan

Great stock management improvements made by Stephen in the warehouse

So many improvements in such a short period of time.

This was the initial comment made by Steve after taking a walk around the Mergon complex in Castlepollard. Joan really impressed with high levels of visual control, storage, flow and immaculate conditions in the plant. Many great improvements have been made by the Mergon Team over the past few weeks and a concerted effort was put into the Value Stream Mapping process. Coupled with this were the SMED and TPM activities currently underway by John Murtagh and the Maintenance personnel from both plants. John has created a very professional system for planning and recording all changeover activities.

On another project, the visual control team have undergone training on creating controls based on the Six-tier pyramid of controls and are now in the process of identifying opportunities to apply their skills.

Well done Mergon for your combined effort.
