The entire workforce assembled to listen to the Godfather of Lean, Norman Bodek

Norman getting the workforce involved during the Idea Generation session

Norman Bodek and Tony Corrigan went to Bose in Carrickmacross to share some ideas with the workforce following a very successful Kaizen Conference in Athlone where their plant manager presented how successful the Bose employees were in implementing Kaizen to support the Corporate Bose model.

The day meant a lot of travel but it was worth it as the entire plant were ready to share their wares in each department. An example of this was Eamon's woodshop. Norman claimed that this was the cleanest woodshop he had ever seen in the world. Everyone in this area should be congratulated for their efforts in achieving world-class standards.

The cells in Bose are also second to none and we observed fabulous improvements made by Frank, Darren, Tom and his team. Truly, Bose have fully embraced the Kaizen philosophy and are a model to copy in these uncertain times.

Perfecto maximum ext everyone,

Tony and the Kaizen Team
