| We had a great experience this week in three great companies located in the top half of the country. These three companies are the last at closing out the final stage of Kaizen DMAIC - Control.
Bose worked really hard to organise their A3 reports when we were on site. Eamon, Frank and Darren went through their plans on the new Cell-3 design and there are some great ideas already being fabricated.
Moffett had a full team together and we spent two hours on the line working with the M4 team on their real-time issues. This company is really a great model when it comes to teamwork and the core Kaizen team of Anthony, Paul, Adrian, Derek, Ard, Trisha and Paul have achieved some great results over the past five months.
Another jewel in the crown is of course ANSAmed in Boyle where Kieran Quinn is helping the four project teams develop their A3's. We also had a TPM training session with a cross-functional team and commenced a detailed study on their pilot machine.
Overall, there are many great things coming out of the projects and there are also very positive Return On Investment studies. The one major benefit from all of these efforts is that the Empowerment process has commenced. There is a very high level of ownership and pride in what all the teams have achieved.
Well done to everyone from all the Kaizen Team and good luck at the conference. | << Return to news
