A very exciting day today at the Kaizen Training Skillnet Centre in Athlone where many of the project facilitators came together and shared their experiences working with Kaizen-DMAIC plans. The walls were cluttered with charts and A3 forms detailing some of the techniques used in each project and also some of the fantastic improvements achieved.

Adrian Murphy from Moffett Engineering made a quick presentation of a closed-out project that he worked on in the paint plant. Adrian also shared a printed A3 with details of each stage of the DMAIC process.

Kieran Quinn from ANSAmed Ireland also had four very professional presentations and A3's available from the core Kaizen Teams in ANSAmed. Kieran and the ANSAmed teams have shown that they are setting the standards for all stages of DMAIC, with the ROI results to back it up.

It was also a great opportunity for the facilitators to organise visits to each other's site to share ideas and methods. Many of the companies also agreed to reach a very high standard of A3 completion over the coming weeks in preparation for table-top presentations at the upcoming Kaizen conference on the 18th September in Athlone.

Well done to all participants on a very worthwhile day and we look forward to meeting you again over the coming weeks.
