The Harmac team analysed OEE losses using this chart

The Irish resident expert on Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methologies, Mr. Matt McBride, Operations Director at Harmac Medical Devices in Castlerea, assigned Joe Geever as onsite coordinator for the Kaizen Skillnet. Over the past four months Joe has proved to be the right choice for this role. For example, Joe has led an extremely significant internal project that will guarantee Harmac's market position as the number one in this medical device field, offering the greatest quality, delivery and cost in their specific market.

Joe and the team have quickly understood and applied the key Kaizen principles shown by the Kaizen Team. Joe has also contributed greatly to the Kaizen training initiatives resulting in faster changeovers, breakdown reduction and teamwork in the Harmac Production System.

Well done Joe and keep up the great work
