Kaizen Training Skillnet News

10 July 2008 - Breaking news

One of the real-time DMAIC boards evident throughout the plant

Mergon International in Castlepollard race ahead with Kaizen by completing stage 4 of the Kaizen-DMAIC and achieve significant results to date.

Joan, Michael, Aisling, Ray, John, Sean and Tommy have created a very special environment in Mergon. They have excelled in their use of the Kaizen Training Skillnet tools and techniques. Evidence of their success is in place all around the plant and their use of the Kaizen DMAIC charts and the process steps is second to none in the Kaizen Training Skillnet.

A special congratulation must go to Michael Daly, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, for his unique contribution to the project.  Michael, a highly motivational and influentual speaker, will be presenting the Mergon case-studies and experience at the Kaizen Skillnet Conference in Athlone, September 18th.

It just goes to show what can be achieved through sustained activity, passion, involvement, committment and enthusiasm. Well done to the Mergon team for their sustained effort. (Maybe its the Sunderland connection in Mergon and a strong passion that helps, or maybe its the Mergon passion that helps Sunderland. Whatever it is, it works!)

Best regards

The Kaizen Team
