This project creates a continuous improvement culture by training employees to develop skills in specific techniques used to achieve improvements in Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale. Further training on the Project Management DMAIC process is also provided to key project personnel in each company. The project targets are delivered through a unique model of simplified Lean Manufacturing/ Kaizen Continuous Improvement principles, as developed and refined by the Toyota automotive company over the past 50 years. So far, the Kaizen Training Skillnet has been proven to significantly improve the competitiveness of the projects company members. The companies that have been involved in the project are as follows:
